About Us

Over the last decade, the McArthur High School Boys Basketball team, one of Florida’s very few Nike Elite programs, has featured some of the best players in South FL.  With an experienced coaching staff, our student-athletes are instructed on the fundamentals of the sport while honing their athletic abilities, social skills and academic commitment.  We’re proud to teach not only the love of the game, but the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork and loyalty. 

In the past ten seasons, the Mustangs have competed at a high level, winning over sixty percent of their games.  During that time period, the team has won seven District Championships, one Regional Championship and took part in five Regional Final games.  The team has also participated in many prestigious tournaments and showcases around the country such as the Kreul Classic, The Rockford 205 Tip-Off Classic, Hoop Exchange Showcase, Coaches vs Cancer, Tournament of Champions, The Jr Orange Bowl Classic, Kingdom of The Sun and many more.

To go along with the many team accomplishments, McArthur players have achieved many individual honors as well.  Since 2013, the Mustangs have produced 3 First Team All-State players, 10 All-County players, 20 Broward All-Stars and 40+ A/B Honor Roll Students.  The program’s biggest accomplishment is that during that time period they have produced over 40 college athletes as well as 5 professional players.
